STUDENTS: Youth Employment Opportunity Program Presentation –

The Employment Development Department will be holding a presentation on

Thursday January 23, at 11:20 in Room 34 to talk about their Youth Employment Opportunity Program. The purpose of this program is to increase the chances of young adults obtaining a job. The Youth Employment Opportunity Program offers services like peer advising, referrals to supportive services, and workshops. If interested in attending please sign up with Mr. Covarrubias in the principal’s office.

STUDENTS: eQuality Scholarship - Application Deadline: January 31, 2020

· 20 scholarships for $6000 each, to be awarded in 2020

· Must be a resident of northern or central California

· Must be high school graduate by June 2020

· Plan to attend an accredited post-secondary school (junior college or trade school)

· Students of all sexual orientation and gender identities are eligible

· Scholarship checks will be made payable to your school

How to enroll: Pick up Adult Ed enrollment form in the Counseling Office. Return completed form to Counseling Office. Once the class is full, a wait list will be created. New enrollments start on Mondays as space becomes available.
