Alejandra Mendoza serves as our At-Risk Intervention Specialist, dedicated to supporting student success through early intervention and targeted behavioral support. She helps students navigate academic and behavioral challenges by working closely with school staff, administrators and community partners.

Ms. Mendoza assists with low-level student referrals, provides PBIS guidance, and supports students transitioning to and from Elliott. She also collaborates with comprehensive site teams to identify students who may benefit from additional support before academic or behavioral issues escalate. Through her work, she helps ensure students are connected to valuable school and community resources. Additionally, Ms. Mendoza offers coaching for staff on how to effectively support students exhibiting behavioral challenges and facilitates restorative practices that help re-integrate students into the classroom environment.
