Teen Parenting Support
At Elliott Alternative Education Center, we’re committed to helping teen parents succeed in both their education and parenting journey. Our on-site childcare program provides a safe, nurturing environment where your child is cared for by experienced staff. We offer developmentally appropriate, engaging activities to support your child’s growth and well-being so you can focus on your education with peace of mind.
By joining the Elliott Teen Parent Program, you’ll receive:
Free childcare during school hours
Access to valuable resources tailored to support teen parents
A caring, supportive environment for both you and your child
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Childcare services are located on-site at Elliott and available during regular school hours. To learn more, take a tour, or meet our staff, please contact Graciela Godinez at (209) 492-6706.
Additional Support Through the Cal-SAFE Program
Modesto City Schools also participates in the California School Age Families Education (Cal-SAFE) Program, a state-supported initiative designed to help pregnant and parenting teens stay in school and graduate.
Through Cal-SAFE, eligible teen parents receive:
Free on-site childcare for infants and toddlers
Comprehensive support services that address both academic and personal needs
Child development and health services for their children
The program aims to promote school success, improve parenting skills, and enhance the school readiness of young children. By providing a strong foundation, Cal-SAFE helps young families build a brighter future starting in high school.
